The Festival of Inventions and Innovation is a biennial event.  It provides a novel platform for scientific expression by inventors and innovators. It celebrates creativity and enterprise.

The aim is to facilitate informal science education and create a passion and affinity for innovation, science and technology among students, entrepreneurs and the general public.

The Festival of Inventions and Innovation is an event under the NIL project. It provides a novel platform for scientific expression by inventors and innovators. It celebrates creativity and enterprise. The aim is to facilitate informal science education, promote technology, and harness inquiry, creativity and innovation among students, entrepreneurs and communities. By highlighting the impact of a logical sequence of activities including curiosity, inquiry, testing, action and results we intend to help redirect the thinking of people, especially young adults towards experimentation and creativity. The festival will also serve as a platform to project SF as a strong proponent of creativity and innovation.

A BROKERAGE OF IDEAS & PROTOTYPES

SF will establish an agency that evaluates and link local inventors and innovators with business incubators and investors through a legal and structured process that hones their ideas and prototypes into marketable commercial or social products or services.
