Buahema Christian is Founder and President of Shear Transformations. She’s an Organizations Development Practitioner, poet and writer, and has played lead and support roles in facilitating change through capacity building, impact assessments, and advocacy projects in organizations and communities.

Her career began in Sales in Ghana, to Marketing and Projects Coordinator with the Transamerica Life Companies in Los Angeles.  On her return she became Corporate Business Coordinator with the Ghana Social Marketing Foundation, GSMF International. After working as Associate Consultant with Reach Select HR Consulting firm, she established Shear Power Ventures to facilitate programs in women’s empowerment, innovation and leadership.

She has a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences from KNUST, a post-graduate diploma in Public Relations and Advertising from Ghana Institute of Journalism, a Master’s degree in Development Management at GIMPA, a certificate in Organizations & Systems Development from the Gestalt Institute in Cleveland Ohio, and a certificate in Innovations Management from the Rotterdam University.

As Founder of Shear Transformations she is particularly engaged in developing programs aimed at increasing literacy, promoting creativity and enterprise among youth, and influencing innovation and change in communities.
