Lawrence Boakye

Dr. Lawrence Boakye, was born in Ghana, he studied at The University of the Holy Cross in Rome, and got his Ph. D in Politics/Ethics in 2008. Lawrence further did his post-doctoral studies at the University of Dallas in the US. He did extensive research in the area of peace building and conflict resolution strategies and has published books in these areas. He also holds two post graduate international certificates in academic practices from the UK and the US. Currently, Lawrence’s areas of research focus on Philosophy, Politics and Culture relating to contemporary issues of human sciences and development. He lectures at the University of Ghana in the area of Politics and Philosophy. He is also an adjunct lecturer at Ghana Institute of Management And Public Administration (Gimpa) where he teaches courses under the Public Sector Management Training Program and the International Relation Program. Lawrence is also the executive director of a consultancy firm known as Goldwater Conflict Solutions where they promote training and facilitation in peace management and conflict resolutions. He is also the founder of The Pegasus Institute (The Men’s Academy), where he organizes training in leadership, character building, and does counselling and mentoring for the youth.
